Trex IPTV refunds, renewals and expiry

Trex IPTV terms are paid once and end on a known date. How renewing keeps the same login, what refunds cover, and the two mistakes that cost people money.

One payment, one term, nothing on file

Every Trex IPTV term is paid once at the start and runs to a date you can see on your order. There is no monthly billing cycle underneath it, no card kept for a later charge, and no automatic renewal.

That arrangement is not universal in this market and it is worth stating plainly, because it changes what you have to think about. You will never be charged for a month you did not intend to buy, and you will never have to hunt for a cancel button buried three screens into an account page. Forgetting about a term is a complete and costless way of ending it.

The cost of that is equally plain: nobody renews it for you. A term that lapses over a weekend is a small piece of inconvenience rather than a disaster, but it is inconvenience you can avoid entirely by acting a few days early.

The ladder, and what the monthly figure hides

The five Trex IPTV lengths and what each works out at per month:

  • 1 month - $10.99, which is $10.99 a month.
  • 3 months - $25.00, which is $8.33 a month.
  • 6 months - $35.00, which is $5.83 a month.
  • 12 months - $55.00, which is $4.58 a month.
  • 24 months - $90.00, which is $3.75 a month.

The steep part of that curve is at the start. Moving from one month to three takes about a quarter off the monthly rate; moving from twelve to twenty-four takes rather less off it than people expect, and it doubles what you are committing in advance to a service you may not still want in two years.

The sensible pattern for a new customer is therefore the short term first, used as a genuine test, and then a longer one once the household has actually lived with it for a few weeks. Every length carries the identical catalogue, so nothing is being withheld from the one-month plan to push you up the price list.

Renewing keeps the line you already have

A renewal is an extension, not a replacement. The term is applied to the existing line, the expiry date moves out, and the username, the password and the server address stay exactly as they were.

That means no device in the house needs touching. No re-entering details on a television with an on-screen keyboard, no reinstalling anything, no reconfiguring a MAG portal. It is the main practical reason to use the renew form with your existing username rather than placing a fresh order, which would build a second, separate line alongside the first.

The timing note is short. An extension applied to a running line takes hold at once. Waking an expired one usually does too, though not always, and the gap between those two matters a great deal more on the evening of a match than on a Tuesday afternoon.

What a renewal does not change

Two things people expect a renewal to fix, and it does not:

  • The connection count. That was set when the order was placed and a renewal carries it forward. If the household has outgrown it, say so when you renew rather than discovering it afterwards.
  • The region ordering and the adult setting. Those were chosen at checkout too. They are adjustable, but through a message rather than automatically as part of extending the term.

Neither is difficult to change. They simply do not change on their own, and a renewal that quietly reshaped your account would be worse behaviour than one that does not.

What the refund policy actually covers

The published refund terms are the authority here and they are short enough to read in full, but the shape of them is worth describing because it explains what a useful refund request looks like.

A refund is about the service failing to be what was sold, not about a change of mind after months of use. That means the strength of a request is mostly a function of two things: how early it is raised, and how specific it is. A message in the first days of a term naming a channel that is absent, or a fault that persists across every device and every host on your list, is a straightforward conversation. The same message in the last fortnight of a twelve-month term is a much harder one, through no bad faith on either side.

Before raising one, it is worth ruling out the cases that look like a broken service and are not. Nearly all of them are covered in what to do when a line stops, and the host change alone accounts for a large share of the messages that would otherwise have become refund requests.

The two mistakes that cost people money

The first is paying twice. When an activation seems slow, the instinct is to put the payment through again, and that does not top up the first order - it builds a second line, which then has to be unpicked. If nothing has arrived, check the spam folder, then the order page in your account, then write in with the order number. A second payment is the one action that makes the situation worse rather than better.

The second is buying elsewhere and asking us. A reseller holds your billing record, sets their own price and writes their own refund terms, and we cannot see a transaction that never reached us. That does not make them illegitimate - most are ordinary businesses - but the person who took the money is the person who can return it. Orders placed on this site carry an order number beginning TRXA-, and if yours does not begin with a code like that, it was placed somewhere else.

Cancelling, which is mostly doing nothing

There is no cancellation process, because there is nothing running to cancel. No card is stored, no agreement renews and no minimum term sits underneath the one you bought. The line reaches its date and stops.

If you want the term to end sooner than that, you can simply stop using it; there is nothing to switch off at your end and nothing to return. If you want it to continue, renew before the date. Those are the only two states, and neither of them requires a phone call to a retentions department.

What to send, and where

Whether the question is a renewal, a refund or a duplicate payment, the same three facts get it dealt with in one exchange rather than four: the order number, the email address used on the order, and one sentence describing what you want to happen.

For a fault, add the detail set out in the troubleshooting guide - the channel, the device, the time and whether it also fails on mobile data. For a refund, say when the problem started and what you already tried, because a request that shows the host change was attempted is taken more seriously than one that does not. Send it from the contact page or over WhatsApp, and if you are still deciding whether any of this applies to you, what a subscription actually is sets out what you are buying in the first place.

Common questions

Will renewing give me new login details?

No. Renewing pushes the end date further out on the line you are already using. The account name, the password and the address are all left alone, so nothing in the house needs a setting changed. That is the whole reason renewing is preferable to buying a second order and starting again.

What happens if I let it lapse?

The line stops answering on the expiry date and nothing else occurs - no charge, no notice period and no equipment to return. Bringing a lapsed line back is usually simple and is not always immediate, and that is the entire practical case for acting ahead of the date instead of behind it.

Can I get a refund if a channel I wanted is missing?

Tell us which channel first, because a surprising share of these turn out to be present under a group name that was not expected, or a mapping fault we can repair. If it is genuinely absent, raise it early in the term rather than in the last week - a request made in the first days of a subscription is a different conversation from one made after months of use.

I paid twice by mistake. What now?

Send both order numbers and do not try to use both lines. A second payment builds a second line rather than topping up the first, so the two are separate subscriptions from the moment they activate. Raising it the same day is far easier to sort out than raising it once both have been running for a month.

Set it up on your device

Where the hardware above is concerned, the install itself is covered separately. The pages below take one screen at a time on the platforms this guide mentions.

Still stuck?

Send us your order number and the device you are using, and a real person will work through it with you. If the list is there but nothing opens, point the line at a different host before writing in.
